Who Needs Sleep?

Apparently not Jackson! He has been waking up several times a night for about a week now. We head to the doctor tomorrow for his 4 month well check up, so I am interested to see what he has to say. We will start on rice cereal tomorrow - I can't wait to see what he thinks of that. I know that it is about time to stop rocking him to sleep and letting him put himself down. I dread this not only for the fact that we are going to have to listen to him cry, but I am really going to miss rocking him and having him sleep on me. I know it is what is best for him and us in the long run. He is just getting so big so quickly - he really is very aware of his surroundings and loves to laugh. I will update with all of his 4 month stats tomorrow. I just had to take his picutre in his cute new outfit that his Gram got him.

Happy belated Birthday Aunt Alli! We had a great time celebrating with all of the cousins tonight. As you can see from the pictures we are a very "moist" baby!

We are Home!

We are home from our wonderful week at DeBordieu over the 4th. Thanks so much to Glenn and Elisa for being such wonderful hosts. We celebrated Will Kirk's 3rd Birthday while we were there. Jackson did so good while we were gone - he slept through the night and was such a good boy under the tent on the beach. We have our first cold which has not been great. The past two nights he has woken up about every hour unable to breath. We finally talked to the doctor and he is taking Benadryl and doing better. Hopefully we will get some sleep tonight since I seem to be the lucky Mommy that Benadryl doesn't keep him awake. We will have our 4 month check up next Friday - I am anxious to see how much he has grown yet not anxious about the next round of shots. I don't have any pictures from the beach b/c we always seemed to be on the go and when we went we had to lug so much other stuff to keep him entertained and the camera never made the cut. I will have to get some more pictures to post of my sweet bald boy.

I know it has been a while, but we were at the beach all last week. Happy Belated Fathers Day to all of the Daddies out there. We were down at Fripp and Drew did not leave until Monday. He had a great day watching the US Open with Jackson. It is hard to believe that Jackson is 3 months old now. He has so many tricks - he blows bubbles, constatnly has his hands in his mouth, he laughed for the first time, and he has also found his voice and loves to hear himself talk! We are so excited that Jay and Shannon are having a boy! I have to say that I think Shannon and I are going to have our hands full with Jackson, Tanner, Jay and Drew! I saw the ultrasound pictures and he is precious. It looks like he has the Bozard nose, but we will see. Here are a few pictures that we took at the beach.

It's Bumbo Time!

We love the Bumbo seat! I think that he actually may not be 100% ready for it yet, but he loves to sit up. He can hold his head steady for a little bit but then he starts what we call bobbing in the bumbo. It is hysterical. Apparently this afternoon he sat in it and watched Drew and Jay play X-Box while I went and got my toes done and he loved every minute of it.
