Baptism

Jackson was baptised today and everything went great! He was such a good boy in church and loved looking at the minister. By the end of the service he was worn out and had to take a little nap on Mommy. After church we went to MiMi's house for lunch and everything was delicious! What a very special day for our little man.

We Are Home!

Finally after a week we are home. We have been staying with my mom since we did not have any air. I am happy to report that we now have a new air conditioning unit and duct work and our house is finally cool! Here are a few pictures of Jackson that I took yesterday - he is really working hard on sitting up. What a big boy!

Thanks to Hunter and Brie for introducing us to our new toy! I almost forgot that we had it. Jackson thinks he is a really big boy b/c he can stand up in it and Mommy loves it because it is another station to rotate to during the day.

We love our rice cereal!

We love our books. He is so funny - he likes to hold the book and it looks like he is really reading it when he moves his head from side to side. His sleeping is getting back to normal - Thank Goodness. So far the few times that we have put him down while he was still awake or has woken up when he goes down he has done a good job of putting himself to sleep. We will see if this continues.

We love Baby Einstein. He will sit there for the full 20 minutes in his bouncy seat and blow bubbles. The doctor went well minus the shots. He is 16 lbs and 25 1/2 inches long. He is around the 80% percentile for both height and weight. He LOVES his rice cereal. I can't get it in fast enough. He has also started to get back on a good sleep schedule - like sleeping through the night again. We are going to start the cry it out this week I think. I will keep you posted. Who Needs Sleep?

Apparently not Jackson! He has been waking up several times a night for about a week now. We head to the doctor tomorrow for his 4 month well check up, so I am interested to see what he has to say. We will start on rice cereal tomorrow - I can't wait to see what he thinks of that. I know that it is about time to stop rocking him to sleep and letting him put himself down. I dread this not only for the fact that we are going to have to listen to him cry, but I am really going to miss rocking him and having him sleep on me. I know it is what is best for him and us in the long run. He is just getting so big so quickly - he really is very aware of his surroundings and loves to laugh. I will update with all of his 4 month stats tomorrow. I just had to take his picutre in his cute new outfit that his Gram got him.
