Jax Baby

Jackson is so funny these days. He has really started crawling but really has not started to get into things too bad. He has not figured out that he can leave which ever room we are in at the time. Until last night. We were playing in his nursery because Daddy was "tuning" his duck calls for his trip. The duck calls make Jackson cry for some reason. He was playing in his room and I was outside of his room in the hall boxing up his old clothes. He apparently was interested in where the duck call noise was coming from because when I turned around this is what I saw. He has never come close to crossing the threshold of his room to the hall. I guess it is the end of an era!

It's A Girl!

Congrats to Glenn and Elisa on finding out they are having a sweet baby girl! Her name is Emma Campbell and we can't wait to meet her in June. Her ultrasound pictures were precioius!

Happy Birthday MiMi!

Happy Birthday to MiMi! We hope you have a great day. Drew brought the boat home the other day and he and Jackson played on it yesterday in the driveway since it was such a pretty day! Little man has changed quite a bit since the last time the boat was here.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that it is 2008! Jackson started doing pat a cake on New Years Eve and it is so funny - we kind of do it all the time now. We had all of our friends over for the game and New Years and had a blast. Jackson did great and only woke up once which is a miracle seeing the number of people that were here. Yesterday was spent cleaning up the house and recuperating. Mommy stayed up a little late! We hope everyone had a wonderful New Years and we look forward to a great 2008!

Merry Christmas!

We hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas because we sure did! Our celebrating started when we got to Greenville on the 23rd. We got together with Drew's family and Jackson got some great toys and enjoyed seeing his Gram,Granny and Poppa. Back to Columbia on the 24th where we celebtated my birthday and Christmas with my family at the Aitchison's. Santa came and brought some great gifts for Jackson. We are having a lot of fun going through and playing with everything today. We went to Nan and Gandy's last night for dinner and then came home to have some birthday fun. Jackson's two top teeth are really giving us a time - they have started to break through and Jackson is not too happy about it. We had such a great first Christmas with Jackson and look forward to the New Year!

9 Month Check-Up

Jackson had his 9 month check up today. He has to think that he is having the worst day ever! First he woke up at 5:00am with the lingering cold that I feel like is never going to go away. Then he decided that he was not going to take his morning nap before the doctor. Then we hit the doctor, his two top front teeth are getting ready to cut, so that is really not helping his cold situation. Next he got a prick on his heel to test his iron and then two shots. He is not used to getting hurt so he really thinks this is the worst day ever. He was 18lb 10 oz and a little over 29 inches long. He is our tiny boy in the 20th percentile for weight and 75% for height. He obviously gets his height from his mommy! Thank goodness he passed out for his afternoon nap. We are scheduled to go to Greenville tomorrow to stay with Gram, but we will monitor our health situation tomorrow because I REFUSE to be the reason why little Tanner gets sick for the first time between Jackson and I. Here is a picture Leslie took yesterday. You can see he has little watery eyes!
