We are still here!

I can not beleive how long it has been since my last post. I was without a computer for a week and then we took off to Fripp for a week, and I am now just getting over the sickness that Jackson shared with all of us. Jackson is all over the place now. When he is awake we are on the GO! I kind of can't remember what life was like before he started walking/running. The beach was not a hit with him. He was sick from the time we got down there to the time we left. Just a virus with fever, runny nose, and no sleep! We did end up having a good time. It is always something. I will have to post some pictures soon - it is just so much harder to get pictures of him since he is only in one place for a few seconds. He continues to be the sweetest little boy who owns his mommy and daddy's hearts!

First Haircut!

We decided to go ahead with the first haircut today. I personally loved his little curls, but the last day or two they were starting to get a little out of control. Everything went fine - he ate animal crackers the whole time. Michael and Patrick were there getting their haircut too. Of course I saved his curls!

1st Birthday Pictures

Leslie took our first birthday pictures. They turned out so cute I just wanted to share a few! Thank you Lolly we love you!

The Party!

Jackson's birthday party was great! All of his buddies were there and he had a blast playing. The weather was perfect so we did everything outside. He got some wonderful presents and so far loves being One. We are still working on the walking, we have had some more steps, but he is very careful. We love the swing set that daddy built and the jump castle that Pat and Leslie let us borrow.

A Day of Firsts!

We had a great birthday yesterday and it was a day of firsts! We turned around in our carseat and we love it! We also had our first taste of sweets with the cake - he also loved it. Jackson also decided to take his first steps. First to Mamma (saying Mamma the whole time) and then to Daddy! He has been on the verge of taking his first steps for a while now, but I guess he wanted to wait until his birthday. I can't believe my sweet baby boy is One now and an official toddler! We are looking forward to our party tomorrow!
On a side note please keep my sister, Paul, Patrick, Morgan and Michael in your prayers. Morgan was admitted to the hospital last night and will more then likley be there for a couple of days to keep her levels in check.

Happy First Birthday!

I can not believe that my baby is 1 year old today. Over the past two weeks I have noticed that he really has grown into quite the big boy. This morning we have had a lot of mamma's wich we really have not had before - I love it! It is hard to believe how fast a year can go when you are having so much fun!
